Catering Services

We are delighted to share our catering brochure. From morning breakfast baskets and freshly brewed coffee to casual feast, and elegant hors d’oeuvres, these pages are filled with fresh and contemporary menus. These represent only a starting point, however.

Our commitment to you is to customize menus as needed for any occasion. Whatever your event: a breakfast meeting, a faculty luncheon, a retirement party, you will find that we offer fresh ingredients, creative preparations, elegant presentation, and thoughtful service. We would be pleased to help you design a menu for your next event.

Policies & Procedures

To ensure the success of your event please be sure you have completed the following steps:

Room Reservations
In order to reserve your event space, please use the link provided for the appropriate person to contact.

Room Request Information

Please reserve the room before contacting the Catering Office.

Catered Event Planning
To arrange for Catering Services, Menu Selections, and Pricing Information, please call the Catering Office at 445-4697. Our Catering Manager will assist you throughout the planning process of your event.

Additional Needs

  • Media Resources
    Microphones, Lighting, Projectors, etc. must be requested through Classroom Services at 445-4380.
  • Security
    Security must be notified of the event times when you would like the room opened before your event, and secured after the event. Call 445-4444.

Meal Guarantee
We require a final customer count for your event two (2) working days before your scheduled event. Your final bill will be for the guarantee or for the actual number of guests, whichever is greater. If your guest count drops below your guarantee, we will bill for ninety-five (95%) of your guarantee. We will provide accommodations for five percent (5%) above the guarantee number of guests expected.

Price Quotes
Prices quoted in this Catering Guide are for regular college hours, and are designed to provide examples of our base line pricing during the regular operating hours. Events scheduled for weekends, close down periods, off-campus and certain rooms, holiday and summer events may incur higher prices due to additional operating costs. All events may be subject to the 8% New York State Sales Tax, and a 10% Le Moyne College surcharge. If your group is Tax-Exempt, please forward a copy of your Exemption Certificate with your number to our Catering Office.  A 75% down payment is required two weeks before the event for any group that is not a part of the college.

Timing
Orders received less than 24 hours of the event will incur an additional charge of 10%. Please plan your event well in advance. There needs to be three weeks notice if there is going to be a bar at your event.  We need this time to obtain a liquor license for room the event is held.

Liquor License

James Commons and Special Events Room are licensed areas. If you would like a bar in another location, a caterer's permit needs to be ordered 4 weeks in advance of your event.
